After a pitch involving five agencies, the DierenLot Foundation has decided to continue its collaboration with STROOM. The Candid agency will remain responsible for DierenLot’s media strategy, planning, and purchasing. Additionally, STROOM will further support DierenLot with a data-driven approach.
Jane van de Berg, General Manager of the DierenLot Foundation, stated: “After working together for 12 years, it’s good to conduct a competitive analysis. We hadn’t been a client for so long without reason, but some doubts had naturally crept in over time. By briefing five very different Dutch agencies, we gained an objective view of the various approaches. We could only conclude that STROOM excelled in content, strategy, planning, and enthusiasm.”
CCO Lars Vink of STROOM said, “The pitch was a bit of a surprise, of course, but because we are so committed to working for and with this important charity, we were ready to take it on. The DierenLot Foundation is a master at optimizing direct response TV for donor recruitment. Over the past years, we have developed into true specialists in DR-TV thanks to DierenLot. It’s the ultimate example of Media Commerce: where brand and performance are brought together and must deliver results in such a short timeframe.”
DierenLot is dedicated to helping animals in need in the Netherlands. The foundation focuses primarily on supporting small and medium-sized local and regional organizations, as these groups often face the greatest challenges in securing funding for their aid efforts.
Founded in 2004, the foundation currently supports over 300 independent, local, and regional animal aid organizations by providing financial assistance.
